Training Objectives
GOFC-GOLD program is involved in capacity building and training activities in different regions of the world. The main objectives of the current training are to provide practical information on Earth Observations Data from NASA, USGS, ESA, JAXA and other data holdings, data access, data dissemination and data applications. Land cover classification algorithms, overview of methods for image processing and/or product accuracy assessment including environmental applications will be showcased. Both optical and radar data applications will be covered during the training.
